Grafco is a chemical company based in Treviso that since 1979 has been serving industrial customers in Italy and abroad, by formulating and producing inks for screen printing, textile printing and inkjet printing.

The 1970s
The company started its journey in 1979 as a distributor of printing inks, with its first headquarters in Mestre, under the name MACO.

The 1980s
In 1988, after Gianpaolo Coin, son of the founder Lino Coin, joined the company, the name was changed into GRAFCO and the firm started formulating and producing its own chemical specialties for screen printing and pad printing according to the requests of companies from the sports system and fashion district of Treviso and Montebelluna which at the time included: Stefanel, Diadora, Benetton, Fila, Geox, Scarpa, Asics, Tecnica, Lotto, Caber, Salomon, etc.

The 1990s
In the years that followed, the company built up solid technical expertise and experience through a team of technicians and chemists trained in its own laboratories, who work closely with customers to meet the specifications required by the market-leading companies mentioned above.

2000s
In 2007, an external company, Grafco AST (Advanced System Technology), was founded to provide technical support and develop advanced software for prepress and color separation. Grafco AST later expanded into the distribution of printing machinery and equipment specifically for the screen- printing sector, achieving considerable success throughout Italy.

2020s
At the beginning of 2023, Grafco AST was acquired by Grafco and now operates as an internal division under the name GrafcoAST, providing machinery and software solutions and support to Grafco’s customers.

Today
Grafco is currently an ISO 9001-certified company and fully complies with Oeko-Tex and ZDHC standards.
